Bio

I’m a Bolivian student at the University of Miami. I study math and economics, with minors in finance and computer science, on the Stamps Scholarship.

Before college I was mostly a humanities person. I read a lot and spent a lot of time trying to figure out how the world works. At some point, thinking about it wasn’t enough anymore. I wanted to do something with it.

That’s how I ended up in macro. You look at what’s happening in the world, make a call, and put a position behind it. Then the market tells you if you were right. I love that, and it’s what I want to do for a living.

I’m also big on tech. I’m always trying new tools, and some of them stick.

And I think about Bolivia all the time. Whatever I end up doing, I want it to be useful there one day.
